Charles Zimmer
Charles Zimmer has over 20 years experience in the entertainment industry, having started out working for an Atlanta area production company. From 2002 to 2005, Charles was the Assistant Production Manager for the Music Midtown festival - at that time, an annual three day music festival featuring six stages and over 150 performers. From 2006 to 2007 he worked for Live Nation as the Production Manager at The Tabernacle, an Atlanta venue ranked among Pollstar's top 20 Club Venues worldwide (2006).
In 2007, Charles left the Tabernacle to go on the road full time. He has toured in a number of roles, including as a carpenter and production coordinator for acts including The Police, U2, Sting, Luis Miguel, and Ozzy Osbourne. In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Charles has worked on a number of political campaigns. One personal career highlight was working on the 2009 Presidential Inauguration in Washington, DC.
Charles joined SOS as a partner in 2009. His primary responsibilities at SOS include managing immigration visas, production support, business development, technical support, festivals, and hotel booking. Additionally, Charles continues to tour part-time to directly support a number of SOS clients for short-term touring commitments and special event performances.
Charles is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta with a degree in Political Science and minor in Sociology.
