Lori Tierney
Lori Tierney has more than 32 years experience in the live music industry, beginning her career months after graduation from Western State College in Colorado by working in the offices of legendary Denver rock promoter, Barry Fey. She worked her way up from receptionist to main promoter rep for Feyline Presents, overseeing seven summer concert series at Red Rocks Amphitheatre as well as theatre, club, arena and stadium shows all through the southwestern United States.
Lori also spent two years in Los Angeles working at the offices of Showpower, pioneers in the touring industry. In 1990, she returned to Denver and was subsequently convinced to go on the road as production assistant with Guns N' Roses.
Since then, Lori has been involved in the coordination and execution of some of the highest-grossing and longest running tours and events in the music business. She has been the touring production and logistical coordinator for the Rolling Stones, U2, and Metallica among others. She has also toured as the Production Manager for Diana Ross in Japan and for Velvet Revolver in North and South America. As the Director of Production Alliance, Inc. she and her partners were responsible for international tours by U2, Cher, Tina Turner, Ozzfest as well as various family based entertainment events including Barney, Pokemon Live!, and World Olympic Gymnastics.
In 2003, Lori completed her Masters Degree in Nonprofit management from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. She is the co-founder of Just A Bunch of Roadies, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and tries to weave non-profit and charitable projects into her music industry projects whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Lori's primary responsibilities at SOS include immigration visas, accounts payable and receivable, logistics, TV/video shoot coordination, and hotel booking.
